Jeff Paustian

Jeff Paustian co-founded JGP Wealth Management and has helped shape the firm’s investment philosophy, client experience, and service-driven culture from the beginning. Known for his thoughtful approach and deep commitment to people, Jeff thrives on the highly personal problem-solving that exceptional wealth management requires. He values the trust clients place in JGP and is energized by helping families make clear, confident decisions that support the life they want to live.

Jeff’s leadership and professionalism have been recognized by both clients and peers. He has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager by Portland Monthly Magazine and honored as a Premier Wealth Advisor and Top Wealth Manager by The Portland Business Journal. In addition, JGP has been recognized by The Portland Business Journal as a Best Place to Work.

Jeff began his financial career with U.S. Bancorp in 1989 and later served as a Senior Vice President and Professional Sales Manager at Merrill Lynch. His experience spans portfolio management, advisor development, and strategic leadership.

Beyond the firm, Jeff has served on several nonprofit and community boards, including the Children’s Cancer Association, Arlington Club, and Central Catholic High School Endowment. He also mentors students through the Harrington Family Foundation Scholarship Program.

Jeff is a graduate of the University of Oregon. He has been married to his wife, Molly, for over 35 years and is a proud father of four and grandfather to four. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
