Kevin Sanger

Kevin Sanger is a co-founder, managing partner, and Chief Operating Officer of JGP Wealth Management. With more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management industry, Kevin brings a disciplined, principled approach to leadership, operations, and the client experience. His reputation within the firm and the industry is built on integrity, sound judgment, and a willingness to make difficult decisions in service of clients and the firm’s long-term vision.

As COO, Kevin is responsible for the operational excellence, service consistency, and organizational rigor that define the JGP client experience. He oversees the firm’s infrastructure, processes, and team alignment to ensure JGP delivers dependable, high-quality outcomes at scale. His leadership is grounded in a deep commitment to putting clients’ interests first—an ethos that has shaped the firm since its founding in 2001.

Kevin began his career at Merrill Lynch and co-founded JGP with the goal of building a Portland-based firm rooted in ethical leadership and exceptional service. He has been recognized by The Portland Business Journal as a Top Executive for his impact and leadership.

Kevin holds a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. He lives in Northeast Portland with his wife and four children.
