Shannon Jones

Shannon joined JGP Wealth Management in 2018 and serves as Senior Portfolio Manager and head of the firm’s investment communications. In this role, she oversees investment research and analysis and is the primary internal and external spokesperson for JGP communications. She is known for delivering well-researched and accurate information in a concise and easy to understand manner.

Shannon began her career in the industry in 2005 and previously worked as an Associate Wealth Manager at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where she managed high-net-worth client portfolios and relationships. Her prior experience also includes time at Fidelity Investments and Bank of America.

Shannon earned both her bachelor’s degree in finance and her M.B.A. from Florida State University. She is a lifelong learner and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designations. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Portland.

Outside the office, Shannon enjoys cooking, Pilates, and hiking with her husband, Chris. They also enjoy craft beer and wine tasting. An avid sports fan, she is especially passionate about soccer and FSU sports.
