William Paustian

Will joined the JGP family in 2020 and serves as both a Financial Advisor and the firm’s Development Lead. As Development Lead, he leads JGP’s team of advisors and guides the firm’s growth initiatives, including marketing and branding strategy. As a Financial Advisor, Will is known for his commitment to walking clients through the many decisions they face throughout their financial lives, celebrating their victories along the way.

Will specializes in serving food and beverage business owners, particularly those planning to pursue an exit. His deep industry knowledge and broad network provide clients with confidence as they navigate the unique financial challenges and opportunities of business ownership, especially around transaction events and significant liquidity moments.

Will graduated from the University of Oregon’s Robert D. Clark Honors College and the Lundquist College of Business, where he studied finance and entrepreneurship with a minor in economics. Additionally, he was a recipient of the prestigious Stamps Leadership Scholarship. During his time at the University of Oregon, he spent six months studying behavioral economics at the University of Oxford and served four years on the University of Oregon’s Board of Trustees.

Will is currently co-chair of the ¡Salud! Pinot Noir Auction. Additionally, he serves on the Children’s Cancer Association board and on the Lundquist College of Business Forty Under 40 Advisory Board.

In his free time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife, Natalie, wine tasting, traveling, fishing, hiking, and attending concerts and Oregon Ducks football games.
